History does NOT need to repeat itself!

TODAY IN HISTORY | APRIL 13

1993: The B.C. government announces it will allow limited logging of the last major old-growth rainforest on Vancouver Island. At least half of Clayoquot Sound was opened to logging.

This could be the biggest mistake we’ve ever allowed our government to make.
Let’s not allow our past mistakes to form our future.
A permanent moratorium is our only response.
Old growth forests are multiple times more valuable standing then cut down for paper or 2×4’s.
Come on people, the facts are clear.
Do we want to destroy 10’s of thousands of years of genetic diversity that we NEED to study and learn from?
Irreversibly destroying habitat for salmon, birds, plants and mushrooms. All necessities for humans.
Please stand for a firm non-negotiable NO!
